Fred joined his father in the practice where he trained as an articled clerk, before qualifying in 1972. He took over the practice in 1985.
He has a wealth of experience and has established an enviable reputation in farm accounts and taxation, estate planning and trust accounts besides the usual business and personal taxation matters.
Fred is well known in the community for his keen interest and active involvement in the local rugby club.
Jessica Crabtree BSc FCA
A graduate of Nottingham University, Jessica trained with Peats (now KPMG), where she gained invaluable experience on audit, accounts and taxation of a wide range of owner managed Limited Companies.
She qualified as a chartered accountant in 1986.
Originally from a farming background, she chose to move to rural practices to broaden her experience on small businesses and personal taxation. She joined this practice in 1994 and became a partner in 1995 and continues to work with a diverse portfolio of clients.
Geraint Evans
Geraint joined the firm on the 1st October 2008 and became a partner on the 1st April 2009.
Geraint qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998 with Pricewaterhouse Coopers. During ten years working in the London Practice of the PwC audit and business advisory services department, latterly as a Senior Manager, Geraint worked with a wide range of clients including start-up operations, owner-managed businesses and listed plc’s.
Geraint moved to North Yorkshire in 2004 and joined the finance department of Turner and Townsend LLP, the Horsforth based construction consultancy. As the International Finance Director, Geraint has been responsible for managing the finance departments in eight countries, integrating newly acquired businesses, managing the corporate tax structure of the international business and co-ordinating income tax advice to the 35 equity partners of the LLP.
A Sports enthusiast Geraint also enjoys reading historical books, walking, gardening and celebrating the occasional Welsh rugby win.
